And...there are rumors of a big New Mexico endorsement coming tomarrow...

Richardson, Richardson, Richardson, Richardson! *crosses fingers*

I would be absolutely floored if Richardson endorsed Obama.  The entire time he was in, he was running as the "experience" candidate; for him to then endorse the "change" candidate would just be bizarre.

As you might imagine, I'm not exactly expecting it to happen.

VP slot promise, perhap? Richardson is good balance for Obama. And he had said something previously, after dropping out by prior to South Carolina, about being torn between Obama's great vision and loyalty to the Clintons.

This entire time I've been expecting him to jockey for Clinton's VP, not Obama's.

After Richardson's deal with Obama in Iowa I'd be very surprised if he doesn't endorse Obama.

What deal is that?

The Mexican American Political Association (MAPA), a political-civic organization with origins dating back to the Kennedy administration, has endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential primaries and caucuses. No endorsement was made for any of the Republican Party candidates.

Many political observers and opinion leaders believe that the Latino vote will play a critical role in both the primary and general elections. With less than a week to go before Super Tuesday and tomorrow’s presidential debate here in Los Angeles, MAPA’s endorsement could add to Senator Obama’s “Big Mo” and put him over the top.

Interesting.

If Obama actually can slice into the Hispanic vote in California, he might actually have some semblance of a chance, despite Clinton's apparent big advantage from all the early voting that has occurred.

This is all the reason in the world NOT to support Hillary.

For once we're in total agreement. Tongue
