Just for curiosity I clicked on the link of his grandfather, an exiled Spanish republican. I found these verses by Luis Gabriel Portillo:

Cuando en su propia sangre redimida

They talk about Peace, Mercy and Forgiveness. Just like a famous Azaña speech in Barcelona, 1938, during the Spanish Civil War.

Really? You say this because you don't know the Spanish conservatives. Seriously, I prefer to avoid battlefields if I can.
