I had talked to TNF about this, something I obviously support, but I will re-bring up some of the smaller divergences/issues I had in order to make this a bit more compatible.

Why is beer and wine different ages than commercial liqours?

Also my first amendment will have to do with the drug testing bit.

Having a legal age only mean legal age of purchase doesn't make so much sense to me, as well as having multiple ages. I think a clean cut 18 works.

I can't support your amendment supporting drug testing if you include cannabis in it. If you make an exception for Cannabis, I will support it. BTW, that is the current law right now. Nothing that is legal can be used in a drug test against you. I understand that if we make hard drugs legal, we still have to ensure workers don't have to hire druggies. But we need an exception for Cannabis, otherwise I think we should require drug testing for alcohol and tobacco too.

If the exception for cannabis is the current law, then nothing changes.

I would still rather be safe than sorry. The exception for cannabis should be explicitly mentioned in this bill I think.

Fair enough, I will make that small change before TNF gets a look at it.

Amendment is hostile. Sorry Max, but I'm pretty adamant about lowering the overall ages for drugs that teenagers are already doing. We might as well take the criminal element out of purchasing cigarettes, beer, wine, and pot.

Fair enough, I think I was kind of expecting hostility to my measure. If this measure fails in the Senate, I think I may still come back with some of the more minor changes I made (the age 18 stuff, drug testing).

What say you all about taxing harder drugs?

35%? I don't know the measurements of everything, so maybe someone else can do something about that, but let's start there.

And I think TNF is talking about stuff that isn't currently legal.

Amendment is hostile. I believe in the right to smoke in public, be it tobacco or marijuana.

I am in full agreement, and I don't think I get why one is being marked out and not the other.

Either eliminate the whole section or don't.

I'll vote against this if the amendment passes.

This amendment doesn't even change anything.

Does Atlasia already permit smoking in public?

Funny I seem to recall voting the same way as you. Tongue

Or do you mean the inactivity? Well yes, my answer to that is same regardless of whether it is a Revolution or not.

FIX BAYONETS!!!!

I'm talking about inactivity of the Nationalist Mustafinist Senator, of course.

TNF is, I assume, hostile, and I would probably agree. I guess a fair compromise would be to prohibit public smoking but to allow business owners the discretion, since it's their property.

Nix has told me straight up, that if the whole original line is a part of the bill, it will not be signed. Now I have a compromise amendment on the way once this fails, because I do want this kind of Comprehensive Drug Reform.

Does it have enough votes to pass or fail at this point, Maxwell? Wink

Well, its at 5, which is kind of a murky point. 6 is enough votes to pass. So if I change it, yes.

If not, I propose a 30% tax Rate on all newly legalized drugs.
