I have serious concerns about the constitutionality of this bill. At a minimum, we should bring the regional executives into this conversation.

By the way, I object to JCL's amendment. Which, I should add, undercuts his supposed commitment to regional autonomy. How disappointing.

This was in response to the whole hiflygate thing. If we think that that act was unconstitutional, as many people do, then I think we're justified in doing this

If Hifly's bill were unconstitutional, then would this not be redundant?

These are my thoughts exactly. This feels kind of meaningless.

I commend Senator Nix for bringing me to this thread. From now on I'm going to pay more attention to what the Senate does.
