This lawsuit is obviously a terrible thing for music and terrible from a law perspective.

Plagiarism laws are awful, but since this is Blurred Lines I don't give a sh*t.

This is problematic. If this becomes precedent, they could come after songs you like.

That's good, someone got their money taken for making a song about rape mainstream.

(Then again, I don't know of any other mainstream songs about rape)

Because, according if we took the logic that most people use to describe "Blurred Lines" as a rape song would mean describing just about EVERY mainstream dance song is about rape.

And this wasn't a lawsuit about that. Jesus, get your contacts on.
