I've been looking back on the Steve Bullock 2016 gubernatorial campaign - I hope he's considered for at least Vice President, if not considers a full on presidential campaign. His campaign was largely focused on beating back corporate spending in his state, saving public lands and public schools, and standing against a Montana Sales Tax which would dis proportionally harm the poor. Bullock ran on some conservative planks, sure, but this is a red state still we're talking about. He certainly fills the populist element decently well.
