Just stumbled across this thread. I think it's great that Jagmeet Singh will be on the debate stage in 2019 with Trudeau and Scheer. I think this win truly shows the inclusivity of Canadians. Congrats to the progressive party (NDP) for nominating the best candidate, who also happens to be a minority. Both of Singh's parents are immigrants, which shows how far he's been able to come. A true Canadian success story. How inspirational this must be to all immigrants in the country.
