Do the Florida presidential and senatorial primaries take place on the same day?
And if so, can he run for both?

I don't think that is the issue. Rubio has said numerous times that if he throws his hat in the ring for the Republican nomination, he will not run for reelection. A win-win for everyone, in my opinion.

Can he really be that stupid? He knows that he needn't build his hopes up...
