I agree with the SoIA, I really think we should wait to see if we are actually facing alien aircraft before legislating on this. Somehow, I still refuse to acknowledge this whole situation.

No one is concerned with the freedom of expression implications here? "Aliens" have been a claim people have brought up for decades.

And until a few days without causing damage. This "joke" mobilized air forces throughout the world, almost caused a diplomatic incident with Mexico, brought widespread panic, and we're not even considering that some people might have committed suicide over this (I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case). The fact that we never bothered to punish it before shouldn't really stop us, not when these incidents bring so many consequences.

I highly doubt a private citizen can mimic a full scale military operation like the Chinese. Tongue

But carry on. I'm just trying to protect freedom of speech and expression for our citizens. I don't care about the Chinese. Our laws and constitutional protections don't apply to them.

Just curious, Mr. President, is the administration going to pursue a more concrete policy towards China in light of this operation?

I haven't decided how to respond to the Chinese actions. I'm still discussing options with my administration, but rest assured, we will let you all know something when we've come to a decision.

Great to hear, I'll be looking forward to the response!
