This word is used too much, but in Buchanan's case it's actually the correct label. Buchanan is literally a fascist,  or at least he was back during the 90s when he was relevant. He's probably moderated a bit since then, but he still seems to retain a lot of his old views and is just more tactful about expressing them.

How so? Where are the calls for nationalizing industries & Church property? Where were the uniformed Buchananites at his rallies etc?

too many people think fascist simply means 'white nationalist.' although even then i can think of a few that would dispute pat being one of them. bob whitaker comes to mind.

Yeah, I can agree with that. The man is far too anti-state to be a fascist though.
