Yes, with high support in multicultural working class districts in the periphery, which voted for Justin Trudeau's Liberals overwhelmingly. 

I'd argue that's not really a different phenomenon from Trump, just the Canadian 'flavour' of the right wing populism sweeping the globe. Since Canadian racial minorities are relatively well integrated and Canada's racial history is different from America's, they feel comfortable joining right wing populist movements in a way that say American Hispanics are not.
