He'd have lost every state in the Union.  He'd only have taken the District of Columbia's 3 EVs.

If that had happened, the Democrats in most of the Deep South would have nominated slates of unpledged Democratic electors, or electors pledged to George Wallace, to save local Democrats from disaster.
