Would Jesus count as a political leader?

- exercising a compelling charm that inspires devotion in others.

Hitler
Mohammed

I think that's probably the top...but maybe the willingness to murder for the person is playing too much a part in my thinking.  Murdering for someone shows a lot of devotion...but probably not as much as suicide, so Mo tops Hitler I guess.  And Mo has people doing it for him a thousand plus years later, Hitler fans are asshats, no doubt, but I don't think they kill themselves in his name very often.
There's plenty of leaders who inspired others to fight and die for them, not just Mohammed.
