Oh that is a glorious image. First time since Iowa that someone has put a hole in his massive ego, and it shows.

Is that from when it became clear Cruz wasn't endorsing him?

Does Arpaio have a gun-shaped pin on his tie, or were my eyes fooling me?

This is one of the best speeches I've ever heard in this convention.

Well, it's certainly the highest-energy!

Is a superPAC guy allowed to speak at the convention? Doesn't that require "co-ordinating"?

Tom Barrack might be the only good speaker that this convention has had.

Yeah, he gave a good speech. Probably helped that he actually told humanizing anecdotes about Trump and didn't resort to attacking Hillary, the Democrats, or the "establishment".

Apparently the North Carolina delegation is pissed about Thiel calling bathrooms a "distraction".

Is there a fan blowing Ivanka's hair?

I noticed that too.

Seems like Ivanka is just inserting policies into Trump's campaign platform that he has never once even mentioned. It's gross.

True.

She's never advocated destroying the family, cultural degeneracy, or abolishing the nation-state, so I wouldn't go that far.

And neither has any Democrat, so I don't see the problem.

Really? He's comparing an open-seat primary to one with an unopposed incumbent?

Trump really isn't good at reading speeches...he sounds way too artificial.   He sounds a lot better just letting his mouth go off on it's own.

Yeah, but then he says stuff that terrifies swing voters.

Really, is first points of his speech is the number of votes he got in the primaries?

I was confused by what he meant when he said the democrats got 20% less vote than 4 years ago.

He was comparing the 2016 primaries (hotly contested to the end) to the 2012 primaries (never seriously contested). At least if I interpreted correctly.

I think he meant 8 years ago and not 4 years ago from the 2008 Dem primaries.

That would make more sense. I haven't bothered to check the numbers.
