You've got it all wrong.
I am a left winger, and I am solely responsible for drafting and crafting the bill. This isn't a massive right wing conspiracy. I added the "bleedingheart liberal immigration measures", which I support wholeheartedly, to the pro-life bill, precisely because I did not believe they would pass in a separate, stand-alone bill. I believe that the Right to Life is a fundamental human right, and so I am a passionate supporter of those clauses. Including them in the bill is the only reason they passed.
