Both parties voted down the other sides bills, 2 on each side.  Both parties are part of the problem.  The Democrats say they voted against the Republicans bills because they were too weak, so I guess nothing is preferable than anything at all to them?

Well yeah, both sides are posturing but the idea that someone should vote for any old thing just to say they passed a bill is crazy.  Of course, if you don't think a bill is going to do anything good for the American people, you shouldn't vote for it.  Personally, I only would have voted for 1 out of the 4 things they proposed.
