As I stated earlier, I fully support a ban on abortion. People are always claiming that if a ban on abortion were enacted, there would be a massive rise in the abortion rate due to illegal abortions being performed...so why didn't that happen in Poland after they enacted a general ban on abortion in 1993?

http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/polandlaw.html

Putting that aside for a moment, if an abortion ban were enacted in the United States, the United Kingdom or any other country where it is currently legal and a massive rise in illegal abortions did actually occur as a result; that would certainly be horrible, no doubt. However, at least then it wouldn't be sanctioned by the government and would be treated the way it is supposed to be treated; as a heinous and awful crime. Abortion is horrible enough in itself; the fact that the government of this country and many other countries legitimize it is even worse. It's akin to legalizing the murder of born humans. Second, who says we couldn't stop such an increase from happening? For one, we could start a massive media campaign warning people about the dangers and evil nature of the procedure; along with the legal penalties for procuring it (and the penalties in the afterlife, for that matter). We could educate students early on about why abortion is not only dangerous, but morally wrong as well. There are a number of things that could be done to prevent illegal abortions from being carried out. It's not impossible.

Contraception is not the answer to solving the abortion problem. The answer to solving that and many other problems is a fundamental shift in American and Western society back to the once accepted view that sexual relations are only acceptable between a married man and woman for the purpose of procreation; and to traditional Christian values in general. That may be a daunting task, especially given the fact that American and Western society have been degenerate and morally bankrupt for decades now and entire generations have grown up believing in the lies of Cultural Marxism; but it is one that we can and must take on. In short; the United States, Europe and all of the Western world desperately need a Christian revival in order to restore our civilization to its former greatness and glory.
