seems fair to grant him refugee status, I mean, I rag on white people constantly, but his case seems pretty rough

not that South Africa as a whole is like that, I've had some of my best friends visit the place with no trubz and they were white

I was surprised it was so bad there. I think there's parts of the Caribbean like that as well.  My friend's father went to university in Jamaica I think, and once was followed home by a bunch of thugs (who happened to be black). As soon as they were about to approach him, one noticed he was their (student) doctor and said "Oh hi doc, how are you?"

I wonder if places like Sandton are sh**tty places to be if you are Black in South Africa.
