... this time it's chest pain (don't worry - it's not a heart attack).  Whenever I breathe in or bend over (or cough or sneeze), I have a stabbing pain in my upper chest on the left side.  It extends to my back and up to the back of my neck.  I'm going to try to make an appointment for the doctor on Monday (but in case I randomly stop posting, yall know what happend Tongue).  But seriously - not too worried about it, but I realize that chest pain isn't something to mess around with.  I'll post something after I talk to my doctor on Monday.

You're right chest pain is not something to mess around with.  I hope you can find the answers to your questions and start to feel better.

Take care of yourself.  Just take it easy and moderate the forum. Smiley

You might have gotten something in your left lung.  You should have the doc do an x-ray.

I read a story about a guy who got a little piece of a plastic fork stuck in his lung and it caused him incredible pain.. and then it infected his lungs and he had to have part of his lung removed because of it.

Usually though... I think if you inhale a little piece of food or something it can have those affects (shooting pains when coughing or bending over or whatever).. but the food will dissolve and you should be fine.

You mean you're going to speed up inhaling plastic forks, or is it you are going to quit inhaling plastic forks???  Tongue

You should see Dr. House, because it probably is some rare cancer that is behaving oddly that was caused by an STD or an allergic reaction to Diet Coke.

And have a team of misfit doctors working on him?

Well, the pain (while still there), is not nearly as noticeable as it was before, so with the advice of my mother, I'm going to wait until the end of the week, and if it's still there, then I'll go to the doctor.

The pain is just numbed because the flesh eating bacteria have consumed some of your nerves.
