Vote in the Poll above.

Quote
Dr Pepper just passed Pepsi as the second biggest soda brand.

Coke is still the top soda in America. But the runner up spot, long held by Pepsi, now belongs to Dr Pepper.

After years of slowly gaining market share, Dr Pepper inched ahead of Pepsi as the number two soda brand in the country in 2023, according to market share data from Beverage Digest, a trade publication
.

Dr Pepper is better than Pepsi, and roughly as good as Coke.

I haven't drank a "dark" soda in years, they're all gross, but Pepsi is way better than Dr Pepper/Mr Pibb.

Never liked Dr. Pepper. Weird aftertaste.

I've thought about giving up "brown soda" entirely but never completely committed. Mountain Dew is the best anyway.

I discovered coconut Dr. Pepper at 7-11. It sounds weird, but is actually really good!

They seem to be getting experimental with varieties lately, and are three for three as far as I'm concerned.

Their A&W Cream Soda-Dr. Pepper flavor might be the best soda ever. And the strawberries and cream one is pretty good too.

I am a Dr. Pepper shill, and I have no shame about that. At least they didn't help fund 'Madame Web.'

Yep, I like Dr Pepper more than Pepsi.
I don't drink much soda anymore, but when I do I like the Doctor.

I agree that their Dr Pepper & Cream Soda is really, really good.
Have not tried their new Coconut one yet.
And have not seen the Strawberries & Cream one in my area, but sounds tasty.

I like both equally.  My favorite soda is ginger ale though.

and of course all sodas to me taste much better when they come out of the fountain (like the kind you get at restaurants).

Dr Pepper is “better”, but Pepsi is more versatile.

Dr Pepper is the perfect agnostic soda (hopefully someone gets this reference). Its better then Pepsi but not anywhere near as good as coke.

You might as well ask which chemical from the under the sink you prefer. It's all poison.

I only drink diet or "zero" soda, so sadly most of the limited edition flavors aren't available to me.

But, Dr. Pepper diet and zero are both great.

Forrest Gump obviously preferred Dr. Pepper--he drank one bottle after another at the Kennedy White House, and when he finally met JFK, told him he had to go to the bathroom!

Dr. Pepper and it's not close.

Makes a much richer meat marinade too.

I’ve never had a Dr Pepper before, but there’s one sitting in my cube at work in case I get adventurous. Someone left a pack on the kitchen table, so I grabbed one a month ago.

Pepsi and Coke are fine. I usually get Coke if given the option. RC Cola wasn’t bad the time I had it. Slightly cherry-tinged, but I’m not sure if it was just a fluke. I’ll have to try it again. Shasta Cola was alright. Gave me the caffeine I needed in a pinch to avoid altitude sickness, but not that great.

regular Dr. Pepper over regular Pepsi, Diet Pepsi over regular Dr. Pepper, and Diet Dr. Pepper over Diet Pepsi, is my hierarchy here. Unlike diet Coke, neither of their diet versions taste like pure chemicals to me.

According to my reply/post #6 above, there are some Dr Pepper flavors in diet or zero.
I bet they could be hard to find though.

Sugary, carbonated drinks are disgusting.

Just sayin'

I literrally drink 2 full gallons of H2O a day.   I drink water more than I eat foodstuffs.

I knew blacks whose mothers beat them as childruns and forced them to "eat every single thing on their plate before you even think about touching dat kool-aid"....

...

No wonder those people die of diabetes.
