Not a fan of his politics, but Layton is the best man.

Harper, goes without saying, obviously. Ignatieff is obviously an intelligent man but he's a crappy leader and I have my doubts about his actual competence at running a country. Duceppe has always been and always will be a very good and decent man so he's probably too decent to run a country and he has no interest in doing so. Layton is the best of all federal leaders and would probably be the best Prime Minister. Elizabeth May is a deranged, incompetent nut.

But, basically, anybody but Harper.

Given the chance, I would always vote for a Francophone.

I'm probably closest to Ignatieff on the issues, but I think Layton would do a better job actually running the country.

Layton's the best. I like Duceppe, but he doesn't want to be Prime Minister of Canada and I don't want him to be Prime Minister of Canada.
