Green probably, if I were voting. If the GOP nominated Huckabee or Daniels I'd consider them.

Republican, unless they do something really stupid like nominating a Teabag joke.

I guess that eliminates a little over half of the potential runners then.

At this point the reasonable option is only getting 46%!  And you tell me this isn't a right-wing forum.

The rest of the percentage is plagued with voters who have stipulations.  If one person is nominated over another then they'll vote opposite.  That doesn't work well for a Republican win.

Hey, I am not really a fan of either party. I was quite happy to side with Democrats back when they seemed reasonable and Republicans seemed fascist, so now I am happy to side with Republicans as they slide in my political direction while the Democrats propose nonsensical "solutions" to economic problems or otherwise ignore them.

But a "moderate" Republican victory from, say, Giuliani or Romney, would kill the Tea Party like Obama killed the anti-war movement. Obama would be preferable. On the other hand, I would still CONSIDER the Republicans if their candidate was at least barely acceptable (Daniels), and I would definitely support them if they nominated a good candidate (Paul, Johnson, etc)

Unless Romney is on the ticket, I'll vote Republican, so option 2. on the top of the ticket I will not vote Republican.  Smiley

What? You wouldn't vote for Mitch Daniels or some other non-Romney Republican? Even if Romney is the VP?

*sigh*
