Freedom Commune, because it was a experiment, and it failed. Any further attempts (USSR, etc) were failures, and would be labled "Horrible".

Doomed from the get-go, a desperate act by desperate people.

One of the most beautiful initiatives of the XIXth century. There's no way to say how it would have turned out if it had survived, but it hadn't a chance to survive anyways. The reactionary government basically did what Gaddafi and Assad are doing today, but at the time it was all right and there are still people today to justify such a horror.

Ah, the heady days of pure, innocent communist/socialist thought, before it got stuck in a statist quagmire.

Freedom Commune, though like most such innocent and purely conceived ideas doomed from its outset in the context in which it arose, and imperfectly formed and executed as all human works.

A lot of people here aren't of Italian descent. You are embarrassing your homeland by making such a comment while displaying that avatar.
