Well, I'd have to say that's a pretty forthcoming statement.

Honestly, if he was going to go the bats**t insane route, he shouldn't have stopped.  He should've just continued the crazy train right into the depot.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Agreed. He can't exactly save himself at this point, so why not go down the route that's probably more fun for him and definitely more fun for everybody else?

Okay, now can I stand by my statement that Cain was an extremely overhyped and unqualified candidate?

ya'think?

Hell, with that kind of argument somebody could argue that Christians shouldn't be able to worship in the neighborhood because they would be imposing moral law on others!  I wonder why that's never happened before!

Oh, wait..........what's this?

One element remains clear as the Cain Campaign wages on: Herman Cain is not prepared for political life. He has little to gain by engaging this issue. The increasing prevalence of Islam in the West is a cause of concern for some on the far right, but he'll be hard pressed to find support for infringing on the right to worship freely among conservatives he'll need to win the nomination or moderates he'll need to win the general election. Herman Cain is New York's Carl Paladino gone national: excellent credentials, intriguing ideas, no political or media savvy.
