I wish global warming was real.  It is a dream come true for Canada.

Whatever do you mean?  It was 10 degrees Celcius here today.  I had to unzip my jacket. Smiley

Amen.

For me, 65 degrees is cold and 110 degrees is tolerable. My average blood temperature is about 94.8 to 95 degrees.

You won't be saying that in the middle of July when you air conditioning breaks down. Global warming is very real and being ignorant like that only makes it worse. And it won't really be a dream come true. It may be warmer, but God knows what sh**t would happen. And no more outdoors hockey! THINK OF THE HOCKEY!  and skating on the canal... and all sorts of winter fun. Damnit! it's Canadian culture.

The summers are not hot.  And you don't need airconditioning unless it goes over 55.

Hope you make it to the US soon.

If you should come across NickG on this forum, I would appreciate it if you would try to educate him about statistics.

He has some real weird ideas.

Well you live by Lake Erie- I guess there's a lake effect or something. It gets damn hot here, and the air conditioning goes for most of the summer.

Oh I hope so too.  Recently I've taken up another hobby I find very interesting and I'm hoping it will help me get a green card: languages.  I'm good in 5 languages so far, and my goal is to be fluent in 10 in 4 years time.  I heard the CIA are looking for linguists too.

I know.  A mathie like me doing languages...  World is odd, but then, I'm bisexual, and ambidextrous, so there is some oddness there.

Celsius? What are you nuts?
I just realized you're not making any sense in celsius or farenheit.

you've never been in 45 degree weather, mate.

I have. It's damn warm.

I'm in a country suffering it's longest drought in thousands of years, some of the hottest summers in ages, and a great big hole from the ozone layer likely to come back up from antarctica at any time, like it has in the late 80s and less severly in the 70s and 90s.

Global warming is real, and if you live in a country like AUS, it really, really, really sucks.

I grew up in semi-arid desert country.  I'm a naturalized Canadian.  That is why I like warm weather.

It's 65 F here in TX, with a cloudless sky and a fresh breeze, not that this adds anything to the discussion about richius's drinking issues..

Update: Now it's freezing rain, down to upper teens on Th and F. I hate TX weather

As a born and raised Canadian I think anything over 25 is hot.  Keep in mind that the humidity of such temperatures here is nuts. I don't know where on earth you were raised where 55 degrees is normal (Alice Springs? Libya?)
