A lot of people having undergone less humiliations than him have fallen into extremism. It is reassuring to see that Palestinese are still in majority led by people like him, and if only it were the same for Israel, peace negotiations would have made a great step forward.

You mean like if Israel was wanting a "pure" state like Abbas's government wants?  Or that super peace move of not letting Palestinian refugees become citizens of the new Palestinian state even if they currently live in it?  Yeah, it's weird that anybody would have any issues at all with this move.

Head of a corrupt and incompetent administration that now has no democratic legitimacy. Of course Bibi sucks as well, and let's not even mention the other lot.

Never had much of one. Let's not forget how he was made "President".

True (assuming you are referring to Hamas and not Israel), but he's still a HP.

We should really do a Netanyahu vs. Abbas poll. Cheesy

But yeah, basically what others said... Abbas is a HP. Then again, most politicians in Palestine and Israel are HPs. Compared to other HPs from both nations he's not that horrible though.

Abbas' authority is extremely weak. That's the problem, not whether he's HP or FF Tongue
