The gay marriage thing is such a long term disaster for the GOP. But it did allow them to pass massive tax cuts for rich people that are next to impossible to repeal. I'm sure they see it as political capital well spent.

I was a little taken back by this title, because liberalism is usually associated with right wing politics. I think liberals is the term they are looking for. Regardless, its an obvious trend.

This trend has nothing to do with people becoming more liberal.  All it means is that young Americans are beginning to catch up with the rest of the civilized Western world and worry about things that really matter.  I am not totally comfortable with gay marriage but I care a lot more about balancing the Federal budget.  There is no way I am going to vote purely based on a candidates stand on gay marriage.  The ridiculous Republican litmus tests are what caused such wide spread mental illness in older Republicans.  You have Republicans that have to say all kinds of extemist things to win.  Look at Mitt Romeny.  I would hazard to guess most of the time you really have no idea what someone's true politics are.  They are so caught up in this Republican Jonestown group think.

Here is an example.  Here is a right wing lie...

Now here is reality which as we all know has a liberal bias...

What we can learn from this is 77.8% of people who say they are conservative on the issue of abortion are lying sacks of $h-t.

[(45-10)/45]*100%= 77.8%

Now if they start answering polls honestly does that mean they are becoming more liberal?

The immigrant and education thing is very disappointing result to me though. I guess it's to be expected when the most upvoted comment on reddit was basically  DREAM act in response to it's passage.

I voted Conservative, because I tend to lean more Conservative.

Why is Link so obsessed with eugenic abortion?  Seriously.

Why is Link so obsessed with eugenic abortion?  Seriously.

I'm obsessed with the true nature of my fellow Americans.  I hate pretend issues.  90% of Americans agree abortions should be legal and freely accessable.  This continued right wing myth that it is some kind of controversial issue that has "split the country" is nonsense.  It's just like the garbage about Cain, Trump, or Bachmann becoming president of the United States.  I don't understand how you right wingers can sit around and discuss this totally made up fantasy stuff when there are so many real issues to deal with.

Now back to the OP post... If a poll came out tomorrow that said 90% of people are pro choice would you say America has become more liberal or more honest?

That actually isn't what that statistic means, at all, but whatever.

Prop. 8 certainly did worse than the remainder, 28.7%, in many areas of the bay area. I'm pretty familiar with a precinct where Prop. 8 got about 5%.
