I was planning on doing this anyway.

I like to think myself more than a politician.

Good heavens, man, you're a human being, not a politician. Smiley

Indeed. Smiley

By the way I got that line from "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."

Akno's response kills me.  I won't do it, but if anyone gets mailed about it from "another source", there's no way I can be responsible for it.

Cute.  Smiley

What is so bad about it? I know several people politically aligned with me PM voters, and I'm not sure what their standards for doing so are.

If you know your supporters are doing this, you should be quite able to ask them.

I have told Democrats not to dig up inactive voters, but whether they do or not is out of my control.

I plan to get as many voters as possible turning up, from all sides-bot newbies and now inactive oldtimers Smiley

I will not sign this. Voter participation is a key goal in a free society. "Posting actively" is meaningless. What if they are lurking? I will not ever sign any such garbage.

I'm afraid that I must agree with StatesRights on this one (except for the garbage part).  As much as I respect and admire the honorable Peter Bell, I think that, to quote the Senator (emphasis mine), "voter participation IS a key goal in a free society."  I, myself, am a 'lurker,' I read almost everything but only post every once in a while.

If I see them at the forum, I will contact them.
I pledge I won't attempt to make contact with any of them via email, aim, other Forums, private contacts (as if...) etc etc.

As I am now a candidate, I pledge not to dredge up voters.
