How would Michael Bloomberg do in New York's 2018 gubernatorial race as an independent? Does he have a chance of winning? As we know, Cuomo is  not very popular and it's difficult for a Republican to win. And Bloomberg wouldn't need donors to fund a full campaign.

Nah, I don't think Cuomo will run again. Hopefully Teachout will run again.

I think Cuomo runs for reelection, and wins both the primary and the general.

Bloomberg is already 74, he'd be 76 in 2018. I don't see this being a thing.
