Midwest Wiki Reform Commission

The image of a brave and bold future

In a way, I feel bad about not doing this earlier. The job of the Wisard, as the constitution, is to promote the Midwest in every way possible. The truth is, we're on the turning point of a bottomed out curve: what's next is changes, whether in our constitution, our current laws, or making laws that will turn around some of our issues when it comes to how many citizens we have, how effective Midwest Government, and how it can do these things efficiently and at the benefit of our citizens.

We are in an area of the most Serene beauty, as we are the Most Serene Republic. When it comes to out processes, though, sometimes things aren't so pretty. The constitution, as much as we want to honor, has flaws that halt officials ability to their jobs. There has been a chaos in terms of what we do with laws on debating and such, and there has been an issue of certain very good election laws now becoming not effective because they are not able to work in the new day of an elected legislature.

That's why I want to start a Commission. The Midwest Reform Commission. In this Commission, we are going to look for solutions to these hinging problems and publish those solutions in a couple of reports, some amendments to the constitution and others laws. This commission can be filled by anyone: by Folk Representanter, by Regional Komissaer's, and even by ordinary people just like you. Let's get started today to fix our problems so that tomorrow looks brighter.

I will be taking applications starting today.

Great guys! I think I want four or five people before we get on this. It's actually a really good thing that there is someone from the Folk Representant in here, because otherwise, constitutionally, nobody else could bring whatever this commission comes up with to the forefront.

Hey, I wanna push this back up, so this can get more interest, because three isn't enough. But, with the commission right now just me deciding who will be in, I will make the first Midwest Commission News announcement (this will be weekly).

Elections in less than a month

In less than a months time comes Regional Komissaer and Folk Representanter elections. I'd like to remind all candidates who are wishing to run for either office to start announcing their intentions to run now. The Midwest is ready for active and ready Representatives of the people and there are a lot of people, old and new, decide to make the jump.

New Amendment coming soon

We are working through the details, but pretty soon a new Amendment that will reform the way that look at the offices of Wisard, Komissaer, and the Folk Representanter. I assume within this week or so the Amendment will come for a vote, and this board encourages a vote yes on this amendment.

Unemployment lowest since last year

While unemployment numbers in the Midwest have been fairly weak, recently we've had three straight months of declining unemployment, to the point where we are at the lowest unemployment since the same point last year. Our work isn't nearly done, but we are making big progress and hopefully more will come.

That is all from the first Midwest Reform Commission Newsletter!

Hey good news guys, this actually has a purpose, if you are all still willing to do this.

I have decided that this thing will not have any sort of success unless it is focused, and thus I have decided that this will be a wiki reform expedition, if you all see this and are still interested.

PM me if you can.
