Posted this in the International Elections board by mistake, so here is this poll again:

Essentially, Michael Atkinson was THE man holding up the introduction of an R rating for video games in Australia, all the state Attorney-Generals had to agree, he was the consistent no vote.

As a result, games that should be adults only fitted into the MA rating, meaning under 15s could still play it, if a parent/guardian gave them permission, or even worse, banned (example: Mortal Kombat 9) or significantly edited for an MA rating (example: Left 4 Dead 2, which was originally banned).
