This bill simply changes the sign on the door of one bathroom to Gender Neutral. No new construction is needed.
We need to set the example of inculsion and acceptance of transgender persons and people who identify as third gender, or who do not feel comfortable stepping into a male or female bathroom.
I hope that this bill can be earn everyone's support.

I'd like to suggest that the Althing should discuss the implications of "Gender neutral" as to make this bill more specific, but I'd like to state that I support the goal of this bill, we have to help improve everyday life for all Midwesterners, and we have to give the example.

Gender Neutral restrooms are restrooms that can be used by anybody regardless of sex or gender identity.

The "implication" is that people of any gender can use the restroom, not every bathroom in the building we be classified as Gender Neutral, so concerns of people not having a gender specific restroom are not a problem. I don't know what more needs to be discussed? If there are any specific concerns anyone has, I am happy to answer them.

Article 3 of this bill sounds like it's banning the construction of bathrooms entirely!  Maybe something more along the lines of:

1. All government buildings shall have at least one bathroom designated as "gender-neutral".
2. This act shall not be construed to lead to the construction of new bathrooms for the purpose of ensuring the existence of a gender-neutral bathroom.
