3 Days. 3 Situations, two of them somewhat likely, one not so likely but I was curious. Bore has been a fairly popular Senator, but has generally aligned with the more liberal wing of the Labor Party (though he does have an independent streak). Poirot, a mysterious, ever appearing figure in the Northeast, may run once again, and so may Federalist Goldwater.

One that is more unlikely but is fun to test would be Governor Sirnick. Governor Sirnick has governed as a fiscal moderate and a social liberal, and would be a swing vote if elected to the Senate. Along with Northeast Speaker Matt (who is running on the Duke Presidential ticket), may be the only person that, in my personal opinion, could give bore a run for his money in the polls.

In the matchup with bore vs me, I voted for bore since I don't want to be in the Senate right now. There is still more work to do as Governor! Although I'm still irritated that our great [former] Speaker Bore left the Assembly for the Senate Wink Hate to lose the good ones!

I clearly would vote bore over goldwater. I am not sure yet about the other possibilities (I don't no much enough, yet) so I voted undecided, but I'm possibly leaning bore there, too.

These, though SirNick is a great Governor, a good Laborite, and will one day make a great Senator or President.

Super Polling Center: Incumbent favored

Senator bore - 57%
Former Representative Poirot - 36%
Undecided - 7%

Senator bore - 69%
Representative Goldwater - 31%
Undecided - 0%

Senator bore - 62%
Governor Sirnick - 31%
Undecided - 7%

Citizens of the Northeast love their incumbents, and Senator bore is no exception. Bore has strong leads over the former Lt. Governor Goldwater, Governor Sirnick, and Former Assemblyman Poirot. Strangely enough, after several dozen attempts, this is the strongest showing for Poirot, only trailing bore by 21, as opposed to the over 30 point lead over other popular Northeast figures. Still, bore is favored for re-election it seems like.
