http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Presidential_Tracking_Poll.htm

A related survey conducted this weekend found that Americans are less confident about the War on Terror than they have been all year. Just 47% now say the U.S. and its allies are winning. That's down from 54% right after the Madrid bombings. Thirty percent (30%) now say the terrorists are winning, up from 22% in mid-March.

ouch!  Maybe people are finally seeing that invading a non-threat Islamic country does little more for our national security than piss terrorists off.

"non-threat Islamic country"

Kuwaitis probably wouldn't buy that since Iraq's rape of their country proved otherwise.

Yeah, how dare we piss off the terrorists.  Maybe we can negotiate with them.

Don’t misconstrue me as defending Sadam Hussein and his fascist state here… BUT most of the gulf state (With the possible exception of Oman) is quite capable of terrorising their own states without Sadam’s help, especially Saudi Arabia… that said your using an example from 1990, yeah then he may have posed an isolated threat to our interests in the middle east however in 2002-2003 Iraq was a rust bucket dictatorship which couldn’t threaten anything any longer… having said that it is a very good thing that we have toppled Sadam as he ruled over a wicked regime and a terrorised nation but that was not why we went to war was it?

Hockey Dude,
What is the margin you feel that your state will vote for Kerry come November?  A poll in Feb. had Kerry winning by very little, 2%.  What is the sentiment of NJ voters as a whole?

While I'm not from NJ, I think it's a certainty that Kerry easily wins NJ by double digits.  Bush would be doing extremely well dropping the state by only 10 or 11.

Weekend polling done by Rasmussen seems to always benefit Kerry for some reason.

weekends show artificially high results for Democrats, traditionally.
