I was looking through forum history, and I found the oldest thread on the forum. Here it is: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=17.0

Anyway, I was wondering what Al meant by the other forum. Was this forum another forum's successor?

Yeah, I don't have the link handy, but there's an older Atlas Forum.

Indeed, the Atlas forum was founded upon the wartorn ruins of an older forum.

It is possible to visit the decaying foundations, walk its streets, read about Howard Dean's potential strength against Bush next November, look into a mystical past in which Our Creator once regularly interacted with his citizens, etc.

Alas, few remain who can say they once called that forum their home; the Welsh druid, the exiled apocalyptic preacher, the 34-year-old waiter, and that one guy.  Understandably, their experience drove them all insane.
