The man who gave us catchphrases like "death tax" and "climate change" is in the throes of a personal crisis, as his party enters its sixth year out of the White House.

What's the problem?

This is coming from the man whose patrons in the Bush Administration gave birth to the Red-Blue dichotomy that reached fruition when Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin glibly divided the country into "pro-" and "anti-American" regions.

And Luntz, like many in his party, lays the blame squarely at those horrid poor people who have the audacity not to chip away at their stocks like Mitt and Ann prudently advised them to during the campaign.

I also detect an eerie resemblance between Luntz and Bushie...

That third quote is mind-boggingly frightening.

The term "climate change" was coined by geochemist Wallace Broecker in the 70s.  Luntz came up with the insideous "clean coal" and "cap and tax".

I once trolled one of his focus groups.

Yup.  You can get an 85" Samsung UHDTV (2160p) for a mere $39,999.98 at Best Buy.  You can even find some 90" televisions for only $7,999.98 if you're willing to settle for merely HDTV.

But 85" is passe, You can get a 110" UHDTV television via a direct order from Samsung for approximately $140,000 depending on how the conversion rate with the won is when you place the order.

You see big TVs like that all the time here in the Skytrain in Bangkok.. and sometimes on the sides of buildings.  I just saw one today as a matter of fact, and it was broken, with the colors all off.  Hilarious really, I was quite pleased to see it that way.
