Post any reactions here.  First up, Rand Paul:

That is an idiotic, paranoid response. Just saying.

Indeed, I can imagine expect Rand Paul to pass a car accident involving loss of others' property and life and feel concern only about his own schedule. "Who did this to me," indeed.

It doesn't sound like a direct attack on Christie and it looks like just from the beginning of the comment he really doesn't care about the scandal, but Rand Paul needs to be careful because Christie has baggage on Rand to with his whole plagiarism scandal a few months back and given Christie's "bully" nature, he won't step back and will try to take Rand down with him. Both scandals are bad and both incidents with Christie and Rand could ruin their Presidential hopes as Biden proved in '88, but as long as the media stays on the bridge scandal and never comes back to Rand's plagiarism, then Christie may have just helped in solidifying Rand Paul the nomination.

As for John Kasich, I can't find any recent comments from him about Christie aside from them calling each other "friends" which isn't all that bad for Kasich, but if he comes out and defends Christie in this it could backfire. I also found this article of Kasich praising Christie as RGA and NJ Governor saying, "Christie is going to do great out there. Are you kidding? Christie, he is like a force now. People want to be around him. He came out to Ohio during my last campaign, people just loved him. He said if you don’t elect this guy I am coming back here New Jersey style. They liked it." What Kasich doesn't realize though is Christie was at the height of his popularity then and no matter how much money Christie pours into this race, the connection for these two Governors will be very bad publicity for Kasich. The only question is, will it help or hurt Kasich more in the long-run getting Christie's financial support, but losing some Ohio voters for his awful corruption stand.

This place has cause enough problems mixing up red and blue states. Do we really want that compounded by a second defiance? Or should I say, are were Stronger than the Norm?

The Atlas is objectively right on "red" and "blue" states.  We should not surrender to the forces of stupidity on that one.

Bridgeghazi vs. Bridgegate or whatever, it doesn't matter.  Call it whatever you want.  There's no need to get everyone to conform to a single term.

I really like Huntsman's reponse. He's almost the only sane Republican out there. He's never gonna win the nomination of the Stupid Party, yet he's very useful for Democrats all the time he doesn't make the partisan shift and becomes a Democrat. Then half of the country won't take what he has to say seriously anymore, unfortunately. Tongue Right now though, I think everyone are listening to him, Republicans as Democrats.
