I used to think that being FB friends and "following"/"being followed by" them were interchangeable. Then I noticed that one of my FB friends I wasn't following, and I changed that. I wonder then if some of my FB friends are not following me, and that's why they never 'like' or comment on my posts. How can I see who's following me and request it if they aren't?

you can choose to not follow someone, even if they are on your friends list.

You automatically follow everyone you friend but you can unfollow them, while remaining their friend, if they post a bunch of pictures of fetuses and boring vacation pictures and whatnot.

But it seems like some may never have followed me (and not intentionally), like I didn't realize I wasn't following one friend.
