Do we really need to debate this amendment? I guess this is obvious. It just allows to propose alternative, instead of inevitably vetoing a law I don't like.
And there's literally no way I use the redraft for "bad" political reasons, the sponsor can simply reject the redraft, and if the sponsor accepts it, the redraft has to pass the Althing.

I like the idea since it's a good balance of power giving the executive branch this option.

And I have forgotten to say: the president of Atlasia has the possibility to "redraft" legislation, and to be honest, it's one of the reasons why the Atlasia senate is a working chamber!

Doesn't seem like it, so a vote can be called!

No more discussion?

I hereby call a 48-hour vote.

He seems to be away. I hope he doesn't have "pneumonia" again.
