Another lie by Obamacare opponents bites the dust:

Study questions Obamacare impact on canceled plans

By SARAH WHEATON | 4/23/14 7:16 PM EDT Updated: 4/24/14 5:31 PM EDT

Millions of the plans that were canceled because they did not meet Affordable Care Act requirements probably would have been canceled anyway — by the policyholders, a new study suggests.

Last fall, as cancellation letters arrived in mailboxes around the country, opponents of the law cited them as evidence that President Barack Obama lied to Americans when he promised, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.”

But most individuals who lost plans probably would not have continued them even without the law, according to the study, which was published online Wednesday in Health Affairs. Its author questions whether those cancellations contributed much to the nation’s ranks of short-term uninsured.

A lot of the criticism from the anti-Obamacare crowd is hype, but the key word here is "probably"; it's not "definitely"--just "probably".  Obama's biggest PR mistake when it came to Obamacare was going around saying, "If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan."  Because as soon as one plan was cancelled because of Obamacare, it made that statement untrue.  And he should've known that people were going to come after him and the law like this.  He was already facing an uphill battle, and now he's stuck looking like a liar, and its dragging down Democrats who supported Obamacare during its debate and passage.  A lot of his troubles could've been avoided had been more careful with his words.

The difference between Democrats and Republicans: when a Democrat lies, he knows he is lying. The Republican does not know that he is always lying.

All the more reason it could've easily been avoided. Wink
