The surprise nomination of an unpopular ticket in each party causes massive in-party fights, as evidence of mass voter fraud and rigging of election laws abounds. The so-called "Moderate Hero Party" manages to run an emergency primary in which all states vote on the same day. Naturally, problems ensue when neither candidate wins a majority of the preferential vote.
