Can't say I'd vote for Hugin myself. Probably would spoil a ballot. Horrible choices.

lol if Hugin somehow pulls a royal flush and wins there is no chance in hell he would win in 2024.

Not that there's any chance in hell he will win in nine days anyway, just saying that NJ is way too liberal.

I do think Hugin would win if this were an R wave year (like Kirk in 2010).

That is what they said about Santorum.

The state's largest newspaper is out with a glowing endorsement for Menendez

I did like how they point out how narcissistic Menendez was to run for re-election in the first place.

On the whole this sums up pretty much every NJ Democrat's thoughts on the race. I also didn't know about the Celgene whistleblowing incident with Hugin.

If that is a "glowing endorsement" I'd to read a negative one.

They are basically saying "Menendez is the lesser of two evils."  They are right to an extent, but it isn't glowing.

The failing Cook Political Report (at least failing insofar as Senate ratings go) doubles down on tossup New Jersey Senate:

I keep getting Bob Hugin advertisements for some reason.

Minnesota Bob focuses more on the Twin Cities than his own state! Vote for Bob Menendez, a REAL New Jerseyian!

Like... There's no indication among polls that Hugin is gaining ground. He hasn't even led a single poll. There's a highly charged Democratic base ready to vote. New Jersey is on its way to possibly electing 11 Democrats and leaving behind only 1 Republican. Did I mention Hugin hasn't yet led in a poll?

But yes, New Jersey Tossup, let me believe your unscientific poll that you keep thinking is something serious, and let me keep believing your non-evidenced assertion that nj.com commenters are left-leaning (which isn't cited of course but when you're trying to stir things up who cares about proof?)
You'll be calling Mr. Hugin Senator Hugin this January Wink
