I'd rather live in Houston Dallas, although I'd pick Austin over both of them.

I like both cities though.

After Austin and San Antonio, I think I would opt for Dallas. I wouldn't consider Houston at all.

Houston's post-apocalyptic abandoned 1980s strip mall ambience is at least offset by how diverse and eclectic it is. Dallas just has all of the meanness, snobbery and parochialism of a stereotypical Southern city with none of the history or charm. Oh wait, they killed JFK and they shot JR, well there's that.
