I have just resigned all of my current offices in the Northeast. I did this after a prolonged period of thought after becoming increasingly unhappy with the tenor and content of recent debates in the Assembly. To be frank, I've become throughly bored re-hashing the same, tired debates about repealing bills, and would rather spend my time as a private citizen at this time.  I've also become increasingly unhappy with the manner of ad hominem and personal attacks among members of the Assembly.  I've decided that I could no longer enjoy serving in my present positions.

I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me during my time in office.

I will be maintaining this thread for my activities as a private citizen of Atlasia.

I have decided to remain active in the game but as a private citizen; therefore, I thought I'd start off the new year with a new region and a new party.

I have just moved to the Pacific, a place where I have never lived before, and am looking forward to meeting my new neighbors.

Additionally, I have decided to join the Transcendental Democrats out of a desire to leave behind the work of maintaining an active party membership.  I remain committed to Labor values, and solidly support the Labor candidates around the country.

It's been quiet in here for a while...

I would like to personally congratulate all of the Labor candidates across the nation on a job well done.  This election has been a very significant win for our party and I look forward to the coming term.  In particular, I am looking forward to the administration of President-elect bore, whom I supported before this campaign had even begun.

To my friends in the other parties who were victorious, or came up short, I likewise send you my warmest felicitations.

On a slightly more personal note, Turning Points has been on hiatus for a while, but it is not dead and will be continued in the near future.

And now, let's party like it's 1917, comrades!
