What could this mean? Feeling her out for support? Maybe he decided no and wants her to think about it?

It could end up being about something else, though it would be a good coup for Biden if he could enter the race with some major endorsements. He could probably get Jerry Brown on his side too.

I want Biden to run, better candidate than Clinton. Trump on morning show, downplayed the meeting. He said all along Clinton would be best for GOP to run against.

Oh no... A Biden-Brown ticket is one I almost would have to vote for, even over Kasich.

I will dump Clinton in an instant if Biden announces and says Warren will be his VP if he wins the nomination. That and a rumored 1-term promise. Good deal in my book.

I suspect Biden wanted to know if she was planning on endorsing anyone before IA and possibly trying to talk her into not endorsing anyone early on, if he gets in. I doubt he expected an endorsement for himself especially now but he knows what a big boost it would be for Bernie or Hillary.

Warren would never accept a VP offer, she wants to actually do stuff.

I'm not sure why a Warren supporter would want her as VP, honestly. The VP has so little power or ability to do anything, and if a Democratic ticket won this time around, that means she would basically never be able to run for president. She'd be 75 on election day 2024. She could do much more in the Senate...

I don't see Biden going with Brown, or Warren for that matter.

He'll probably pick someone younger, while suggesting he'll work with Warren.

If Biden made a one term promise and kept it, she could take over in 2021.

This isn't that hard to read.

This is almost surely the story Biden wants the media to run with. Only smart strategy if you want to enter the race where Clinton has a huge lead, powered by women excited about the first woman president, and Sanders, the strongest challenger, powered by progressives. If Biden gets any traction, I could see Sanders aping the strategy.

Reminds me a little of Walker pushing story of Rubio as his top VP pick.
