I'll start:

Mitt Romney - Jeb Bush - establishment favorite, semi-moderate record, not well liked by the grassroots supporters.

Newt Gingrich - Donald Trump - wacky proposal ideals, considered the conservative alternate but not well liked either.

Ron Paul - Rand Paul - Isn't this obvious?

Rick Santorum - Ted Cruz - very conservative Christian type who may be the fall back guy in case Trump falls like Santorum was when Perry and Gingrich fell.

Rick Perry - Ben Carson?

Michelle Bachmann - Huh

Herman Cain - Ben Carson again?

Mitt Romney = Scott Walker; Republican Governors in blue states, flip-flopping yet still likable
Jon Huntsman = Jeb Bush; Best qualified candidate, successful Governor, the adult in the room
Newt Gingrich = Marco Rubio; policy-oriented, has some baggage, mainstream conservative with moderate immigration stance
Michele Bachmann = Ted Cruz; well liked with the tea party, hated by the mainstream
Herman Cain = Carly Fiorina; Competent CEO & Outsider, but not much substance
Rick Santorum = Mike Huckabee; the choice for social conservatives
Ron Paul = Rand Paul; Libertarians support both
Rick Perry = John Kasich; late entry into the race, seen as a game changer initially
Tim Pawlenty = Chris Christie; both have bridge issues, going nowhere
Buddy Roemer = Jim Gilmore; no attention is given to them
