When you look at both of these grandious candidates performing in interviews, you notice that they have  extremely much in common in so many ways. They both constantly nod their head like 30 times a minute or something (which in Christie's case makes you think he's stronger than Arnold, while in Hill's case it feels like she's weaker than ice). Now, that's all I have. I think, and have said repeatedly, that I think Christie is an enormous underdog. And with that I mean an ENORMOUS underdog. Sure he has his baggage. Yet he is likeable like almost no politician you've seen since Bobby and John F. Kennedy in the 1960s. Hillary is very similar to Christie. She is as likable as they get among Democratic politicians, with one huge and monstrous exception: Barack Hussain Obama (some, e.g. Donald Trump, call him an Arab Muslim born in Indonesia).

Christie has performed well in both debates but has gained little traction. Seems like his baggage is still wearing him down.

He has quadrupled in the first poll after the debate though. The only one except Fiorina to do so. Rubio "only" tripled his support. All other 13 lost support.

Christie doesn't have "baggage", he's dragging around a bunch of live naval mines. For that reason alone, nominating him would be foolish.

Yes, yet still, believe it or not, one of the least foolish things the GOP could do this year. In my opinion (sorry Hillary!) the three (sorry 7!) GOPers with the strongest chances to win the general are:

1) Marco Rubio
2) Jeb Bush
3) Chris Christie
4) Rand Paul
5) John Kasich
6) Ben Carson (no chance what so ever, but I just had to add him cause he's black)
7) Carly Fiorina (no chance what so ever, but I just had to add her cause she's a woman)

Yes thinking about it, people like Ted Cruz might actually have an even higher chance of succeeding than Carson and Fiorina simply because even knowing some very tiny details about politics to begin with.

Rand Paul has zero chance at the nomination. Zilch. None.
