I occasionally watch RT (Russia Today), despite it being a supremely biased channel against anything it considers too "Western" or "anti-Russian," and I've noticed they seem to really be promoting Bernie Sanders for the presidency, and definitely the Democratic nomination. Although RT certainly is no fan of Republicans, I can't figure out why they would support Sanders. I suspect they like him because he would represent a vast transformation from the "way of doing things" in American politics. But does the Kremlin really prefer a Sanders administration to, for example, a Trump administration or a Jindal administration?

Also, I think its interesting that they seem to really dislike Mike Huckabee.

For reference, here are some of the clips I'm talking about:

RT has a sort of left-libertarian anti-establishment bias whenever it covers US politics. Why, I don't know, but I'd imagine it's too appeal to left-wing and the Alex Jones crowd simultaneously.

Yes, the Kremlin likes to play anti-establishment in Washington. It doesn't mean they actually want him or Paul in power - they would prefer a known quantity.

That makes sense, but why not support Trump just as much, then? He seems to get pretty mixed reviews on RT, albeit probably better than he gets on most American news networks.

Maybe they like him because he'd be the least likely to support Al Qaeda in Syria.
