I will give you five voters (I made up their characters) who voted in the Iowa caucus. I modeled these people after entrance polls and precinct results. You have to guess who they supported in the caucus. I will post the answers tomorrow.

Jonathon Smith is a 26 year-old white male. He lives in Des Moines. He is a college graduate, and generates a high income. He is not an evangelical or born-again Christian. Jonathon considers himself to be somewhat conservative, but wasn't affiliated with the Republican Party before Iowa. His most important issue is the economy and jobs, thinks an important quality in a president is that they can win in November, and also thinks the best preparation for being president is previous political experience. He decided who to support two days before the caucus. Jonathon has attended a caucus before, and supported Mitt Romney in 2012.

Michael Callaghan is a 23 year-old white male. He lives in the Eastern urban areas of Iowa. He is a college student with a low income of $25,000. He considers himself to be very liberal but wasn't affiliated with the Democratic Party before Iowa. The issues most important to him are the economy, jobs, and income inequality. His most important qualities in a president are that they are honest, trustworthy, and cares about people like him. He decided who to support two weeks before the caucus. He had not participated in a caucus before, but would have supported Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton in 2008.

Daniel Jameson is a 38 year-old white male. He lives in the Eastern rural areas of Iowa. He has no college degree, and has a low income. He is an evangelical Christian. Daniel considers himself to be very conservative, but wasn't affiliated with the Republican Party before Iowa. His most important issues are terrorism and government spending, thinks an important quality in a president is that they share his values, and also thinks the best preparation for being president is previous political experience. He decided who to support one week before the caucus. He had attended a caucus before, and supported Rick Santorum in 2012.

Jim Wallace is a 50 year-old white male. He lives in rural Western Iowa. He is not a college graduate and generates a low income. He is not an evangelical or born-again Christian. Jim considers himself to be moderate conservative, and was affiliated with the Republican Party before Iowa. His most important issue is immigration, thinks an important quality in a president is that tell it like it is and can bring needed change, and also thinks the best preparation for being president comes from being outside the political establishment. He decided who to support six months ago. He had not attended a caucus before this one.

Catherine Wilson is a 69 year-old female. She lives in Des Moines. She is a college graduate who made six figures ($115,000) before she retired. She considers herself to be a moderate liberal, and was affiliated with the Democratic Party before Iowa. The issues most important to her are terrorism and healthcare. She would not trust the other candidate in the primary to handle these issues. Her most important qualities in a president are that they have the right experience and can win in November. She decided who to support one year ago. She has participated in a caucus before, and supported Hillary Clinton in 2008.

Each of these people supports only one of the following candidates, and each of the following candidates is supported by only one of these people: Hillary Clinton, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump.

If any of these people bear any similarities to real people, it is because of coincidence, and not because I have been following likely voters around Iowa for the past year.

EDIT: The answers are:
Smith - Rubio
Callaghan - Sanders
Jameson - Cruz
Wallace - Trump
Wilson - Clinton

Are you sure Wallace actually showed up for the caucus?

As I suspected, this was too easy. You were all right. I'll make the next one harder.
Are you sure Wallace actually showed up for the caucus?
He was going to, but sadly he suffered a fatal heart attack on February 1. His memory lives on in his profile paragraph.
So, is there anything you find interesting about the stereotypical supporters of each candidate?
Are are you surprised, as you most likely aren't?
Will New Hampshire be different?

That's who Catherine Wilson supports. (I'm joking.)
