Alright everyone.   PBrunsel, I would strongly recomend that you do not read any lower than this line right here.    Here are the official results for Round 28:

Herbert Hoover - 22

Gerald Ford - 5

William McKinley - 4

Abraham Lincoln - 3

Ronald Reagan - 3

John F. Kennedy - 2

Harry Truman - 2

HERBERT HOOVER, MAYBE WE COULD USE A MAN LIKE HERBERT HOOVER AGAIN.   BUT NOT TODAY, AND NOT ON THIS ISLAND.   YOU HAVE JUST BECOME THE 28TH U.S. PRESIDENT TO BE VOTED OFF THE ISLAND AND ELIMINATED FROM THIS GAME.   GOOD-BYE!!

PRESIDENT HOOVER, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!!

<torch extinguished>

Round 29 thread will be up in a few minutes.

VERY IMPORTANT:  The instructions on immunity for Round 29 will be in the instructions.   So make sure you read, before you vote.

Well there's no way the Great Humanitarian and Defender of Helpess Children can make it through now. Sad

Well  at least he made it far past FDR.

If he's such a great humanitarian why didn't he help American children from 1930-1932, when they needed it most? He only helped European children.

Your so ignorant of Hoover's life I won't even argue with you. Read a book on Hoover then make stupid assumptions.

Hoover did a huge amount of humanitarian efforts post-World War II.  He led a lot of US aid efforts for Truman.

Yes, I already know that. I could tell you everything he did from 1914-1963 in feeding the hungry. At the Hoover Mueum there is a huge floor map with a gold coin in every country where Hoover sent food to durring his 90 year life. Almost every nation has a gold coin on it.

He is trully a great man.

What did my question say? "1930-1932"! Thats when it mattered. After World War II he was just trying to salvage his reputation, again by helping people from other countries not his own. I admire your dedication to a shunned president, I think its cool. But the point is when people were starving on the streets in THIS country in the early 30's, Hoover didn't do anything to help, to my knowledge.

Read a book on Hoover. See what he did to protect workers and the hungry as President. So quiet your mouth read a book ,and form an actual opinion off of FACTS!!!!

I'll tell you one, the Reconstruction Finance Administartion was the first time a President had tried to help the starving an unemployed. It was passed in 1932.
